As a business man, you put on a lot of ties. As a preschool teacher, you put on and tie A LOT of shoes. Once a little girl named Clara (who was one of the most joyful people I've ever known) came up to me and asked, "Dan, can you help me tie my shoe?" Nothing unusual there. "Of course I can," I replied.

"Hooray for the Sneaker Shoe Man!" she cheered.
The song was written instantaneously.

"I'm the Sneaker Shoe Man?" I asked?
